Functions of State Partner |

The State Partner shall be responsible for all the activities of the State Information Centre. She/ he shall coordinate and supervise the work of all the Information Centres under him/her and will act as a link between the University, CESTI and the Information Centre / Industry and Organizations.
- He/she shall be responsible for coordinating with Industries and Organizations to offer Industry Collaborative Programs through the network of Information Centres in the allotted state.
- He/she is authorized to submit proposals to the industry and organizations in the allotted state to offer Industry Collaborative Programs of SBSP/ CESTI to their employees.
- He/she shall be responsible for the maintenance of all records and registers in respect of the activities of the State Information Centre, either academic or administrative.
- He/she shall supervise the work of the supporting staff members of the State Information Centre.
- He/she shall respond to all communications from the SBSP/ CESTI .
- He/she shall ensure that the State Information Centres are kept open on the days fixed by the SBSP/ CESTI.
- He/ she shall ensure timely evaluation of the written assignments by the Mentor. Marks obtained by the students in continuous evaluation will be promptly communicated to the SBSP/ CESTI.
- He/she shall abide by the instructions issued to him/ her from time to time by the SBSP/ CESTI and shall submit a quarterly MIS report on the activities of the State Information Centres to the SBSP/CESTI.
- He/she shall ensure discipline in the State Information Centre consistent with the aims and objects of the SBSP/ CESTI .
- He/ she shall be required to perform such other duties as may be assigned by the SBSP/ CESTI from time to time for the effective functioning of State Information Centre.
- He/she is responsible to collect Admission Form for not only Industry Collaborative Programs but also other modes of Education & Training, along with requisite fee and eligibility documents in allotted state from Information Centres and Industries / Organizations. State Partner is responsible for uploading Admission Form in the SBSP/CESTI Management System (e Campus) within three working days from the date of receiving the same.
- State Partner is responsible to verify eligibility documents of the students as per the SBSP/ CESTI norms and prepare prescribed checklist within three working days. If any discrepancies found in the documents and fee, the same will be informed to the Student and Information centre within 3 working days from the date of receiving. If student and Information Centre fails to submit discrepancies within 7 working days from the date of receiving email from State Partner regarding discrepancies, then the State Partner will send back such student admission Form along with fee and documents to Information Centre and the same will be informed to SBSP/ CESTI office and concerned student on the same day by email and SMS or by registered post.
- SBSP/ CESTI will take steps for further processing within 15 working days form the date of receiving Complete Admission Form along with the eligibility documents and Fee.
- He/she is responsible to develop Information Centre to promote Industry Collaborative Programs in the allotted State. State Partner is responsible to submit Information Centre Form along with supporting documents and Joint undertaking within five working days from the date of receiving.
