Sarva Bharatiya Shiksha Peeth (SBSP) is an Independent Educational Institution, having an Aim of achieving Total Literacy in India.
Under the Fundamental Rights, guaranteed by the Constitution of India under Article 19 (1) (G), this Institution was established with a noble cause to serve the Nation by providing Literacy among the public.
From the day of inception itself, this autonomous Institution had been marching ahead to produce thousands of "literates" through various Adult Educational Programs & Training Seminars / Rural Literacy Camps / Night Schools etc.. with a particular motto "to empower the Nation with Education" and "to lit the people’s minds with Literacy" having influenced by the effective inspiration of the new Education Policy of Government of India, 1986.
Since 2001, SBSP has been conducting Training classes in various places for different Courses that are offered by Indian and Abroad Universities, especially in Correspondence/Distance/Online Modes.
Beside these University Courses, SBSP has been offering certain SELF CERTIFICATION PROGRAMMES also, to eradicate Scientific & Technical Illiteracy from the minds of Public. These are not General Degrees. These are nothing but VALUE ADDED CERTIFICATE PROGRAMMES, just designed to enhance the employability skills among the Adult Students, especially keeping the private employment opportunities in view. These are proved very successful to the students in the private sector to secure a job.
It is happy to state that there are so many Companies/Organizations/Institutions, which are providing Jobs to the students pursued such VALUE ADDED SKILL PROGRAMMES in SBSP from time to time after proper examination and evaluation of their Acquired Knowledge and Employable Skills.
There are so many Programmes that are compiled for the immense benefit of the Indian Citizens, who have a burning desire of achieving a suitable private job.

VALIDITY:

Generally all the Educational Boards / Universities are Autonomous bodies. Hence It is left to the discretion of the University/other Body, either to allow or refuse admission to a student from another University/ Board / Institution.
In this way, every State Government / Central Government is at liberty whether to provide Job / Service to a person, who has passed out from a particular University or Educational Board or Institution or not..
Hence, the resultant actions would be at the sole discretion of other University/ Board/ Institution/Government/Employer before accepting or rejecting SBSP Certification for either Higher Education or Job or Promotion.
The successful students, produced by the similar Independent Institutions are seems to be serving in Government and as well as Private Organizations and also gaining Admissions in various Universities and Educational Boards, and they are successfully winning the present competitive World for the livelihood.
NOT A UNIVERSITY:
SARVA BHARATIYA SHIKSHA PEETH (SBSP) )) is not a University. And hence SBSP doesn't come under the purview of the University Grants Commission (U.G.C) or any Statutory Council such as AICTE, NAAC, DEC, DEB, NCTE etc.
SBSP can't be a member in ASSOCIATION OF INDIAN UNIVERSITIES (AIU) as it is not a University.

Some of the students, who have been Trained and Certified by SBSP are getting Chances for Abroad Placements also.
The Certifications awarded by SBSP are being authenticated by MEA (Ministry of External Affairs), Government of India, by way of Attestation Stamping / Appostle Stickering.
SBSP Students are getting Opportunities for Higher Education/ Jobs in various Other Countries too at the whole discretion of the Employers/ Educational Institutions of their Territories concerned.

Sarva Bharatiya Shiksha Peeth (SBSP) is deeply moved & Inspired by the New Education Policy of Govt. of India-1986, and as such, it has established many Associate Training Institutes for providing Job-oriented Training for the Youth, especially in Rural Areas in different self-employable Trades such as Hotel & Tourism, Electrician, TV & Radio Technician, AC & Refrigeration, Beautician, Retail & Sales Management, Fashion Technology, Fire & Safety, TV & Film Technology etc..
THE CONCEPT OF DISTANCE / ONLINE EDUCATION:
The concept of Distance Education had been originally originated from Berlin (Germany) in 1856.
Afterwards, Russia granted recognition to the system of Distance Education in the world.
In this manner, the idea of Open Universities was conceived by the British Prime Minister Mr. Harold Wilson in the year 1863 to provide an opportunity to the persons, who were otherwise denied opportunities for further education and as such to make their academic life successful.
In 1969, under the Royal Charter, an Open University was established, and the success of which, was more far reaching than the Traditional Universities.
Under the new Education Policy 1986, the Government of India laid particular stress on the system of Open Universities and Distance Education.
Sarva Bharatiya Shiksha Peeth (SBSP) is fortunate enough to draw the necessary guidance, direction, cooperation, involvement & encouragement from educationists, professors and social workers of the Country for effective & successful implementation of the Distance as well as Online Courses. It is their unanimous opinion that SBSP has given practical shape to the concept of the British Prime Minister Harold Wilson by providing Open and Distance Education to the students of under privileged sections and encouraged the democratic spirit to take deeper education in to the depths of the Rural India.
