Sarva Bharatiya Shiksha Peeth (SBSP) is not in receipt of any grant-in-aid either from the Government or from the University Grants Commission (UGC), so far. Therefore, the UGC Act does not applicable to SBSP.
Viewed at from the fulfillment of provisions of the Articles 14, 19(1)(G), 21, 29, 30, 45, 46 etc of the Indian Constitution 1950, the motto, existence, objectives of SBSP are nothing but a matter of appreciation.
Under the Human Rights Protection Act, 1993, the Autonomous bodies like BSP/ SBSP have been given special protection. (AIR 1993 SC 2178.)
